Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading Woman Owned Small Business systems integration company providing innovative solutions in areas of Information Assurance, Cyber Security, Insider Threat, Help desk Services and Information Technology.   We are looking for a key contributor to provide Digital Forensic services in the Arlington area.

Job Description:

The Digital Forensics Analyst IV performs a variety of highly technical analyses and procedures dealing with the collection, processing, preservation, analysis, and presentation of computer related evidence. The analyst is responsible for disseminating and reporting cyber-related activities, conducting vulnerability analyses, conducting risk management of computer systems and recovering information from computers and data storage devices. Computer Forensic Analysts use forensic tools and investigative methods to find specific electronic data, including internet use history, processing documents, images, and other files. This expert is not only proficient in the latest forensic response and reverse engineering skills, but is astute in the latest exploit methodologies.

The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences, influencing others to comply with policies and conform to standards and best practices. He/she will provide significant input into the design and development of the organizations working information security systems operations and maintain strategy and methodology to comply with the organization’s cyber security standards and mission. The candidate will contribute to the design and development of innovative research projects and attend and participate in professional conferences to stay abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of information systems and/or cyber security. Independently, the candidate must be able to manage, plan, evaluate, and advocate for information security compliance systems, plans, and functions. He/she will be responsible for the management of complex projects, programs and initiatives with high threat and large scope <x{(}>(e.g. depart or agency-wide), with on-going systems monitoring.

This position requires an active TS w/ SCI eligibility

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area of study <x{(}>(suggested
areas of study include Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Assurance/Security, Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, and Business Management) and 9-15 years’ experience involving work directly related to listed skills. Consideration will be given to candidates withdegrees from a designated Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education <x{(}>(CAEIAE) and 9-15 years’ experience involving work directly related to information technology, cyber security, security control evaluation and implementation on information technology systems and programs or transferable skills related to information security, incident and risk management. Demonstrated experience in leading an Information Security/IA compliance group. Possession and demonstrated application of relevant certifications: Core: MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, ISC, CAP
