E-Discovery/Forensics Specialist

The E-Discovery/Forensics Specialist will work as part of
the Information Security – Security Operations team and will be primarily
responsible for conducting e-Discovery and Computer Forensics investigations,
including but not limited to e-mail, mobile devices, and computers using
various operating systems.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Actively works with Legal, Human Resources, IT
and outside counsel on litigation or employment related matters.

Conduct e-Discovery collections, cull data using
GREP, Boolean, advance keywords search and applies deduplication techniques

Uncover digital data (such as e-mail, or erased
files), preserve for later use as evidence, and analyze the data in light of
the investigation in question

Acquires forensic images using write blocking
technology to prevent spoliation

Prepares and transfers digital evidence
maintaining chain of custody

Conduct thorough forensic examinations and
analysis on digital media and related evidence following industry-standard
processes and procedures

Ensure the integrity of electronic stored
information is admissible in a court of law

Proactively researches and recommends technology
solutions and process improvements that will ensure continued defensibility

Must exercise discretional and confidential
behavior while working with sensitive information

Communicate technical information and analysis
findings to both a technical and non-technical audience

Other Information Security Operations tasks as



degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred

Experience with EnCase Forensic, EnCase
Enterprise, and/or EnCase e-Discovery Suite

5 years of Computer Forensics experience

5 years of eDiscovery experience

Experience writing operational documentation

Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent
to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop,
reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.

Additional Requirements

Computer Forensic Examiner (CCFE), or EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), or Certified
E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS), or EnCase Certified eDiscovery Practitioner

Strong ability to communicate with Management and Executive level
