Evansville school bus stop to be temporarily moved for safety, construction | #schoolsaftey

CASPER, Wyo. – A bus stop for school children in Evansville will be temporarily relocated as a nearby construction project gets underway.

According to a social media post from the Evansville Police Department, the stop at Third Street and Curtis Street at the Evansville Police Department will move to south side of Second Street and Texas Street near the Post Office.

The reason cited is due to repair work at the Evansville Town Hall and Police Station, that will see heavy construction equipment in the parking area, and include trenching work.

“At this time, it is unknown how long the repair work will take to complete,” they said. “Like any construction project there may be unexpected things that come up during the project.”

The project is expected to take at least several months to complete, they said. Any updates will be posted on their Facebook page.
