FBIs Most Wanted In CA: Suspected Spies, Hackers, Terrorists, Killers | #hacking | #cybersecurity | #infosec | #comptia | #pentest | #hacker


CALIFORNIA — FBI offices in California are tracking 13 people named to the federal agency’s “Most Wanted” list. While some of the suspects are sought in connection with deadly violence, well over half are on the “Most Wanted” list due to allegations of serious cyber crimes threatening U.S. national security. Nearly all the alleged cyber criminals are North Korean or Russian nationals.

Ruslan Aleksandrovich Peretyatko

The FBI’s San Francisco office has Ruslan Aleksandrovich Peretyatko on its “Cyber’s Most Wanted” list. It’s alleged he has targeted United States defense and nuclear energy-related research and development:

Andrey Stanislavovich Korinets

Andrey Stanislavovich Korinets is an alleged co-conspirator of Ruslan Aleksandrovich Peretyatko (see above). The San Francisco FBI office has both men on its “Cyber’s Most Wanted” list:

Igor Anatolyevich Sushchin

Igor Anatolyevich Sushchin is on “Cyber’s Most Wanted” list per the FBI’s San Francisco office. He is a Russian citizen indicted in a California federal court on a slew of charges, including espionage:

Dmitry Aleksandrovich Dokuchaev

Dmitry Aleksandrovich Dokuchaev, too, is on “Cyber’s Most Wanted” list per the FBI’s San Francisco office. He is a also Russian citizen indicted in a California federal court on a slew of charges, including espionage:

Alexsy Belan holds Russian citizenship and is on the “Cyber’s Most Wanted” list per the FBI’s San Francisco office:

Daniel Andreas

Daniel Andreas San Diego is on the FBI’s “Most Wanted Terrorist” list. He’s wanted in connection with Bay Area bombings.

Jehad Serwan Mostafa

Jehad Serwan Mostafa is on the FBI’s “Most Wanted Terrorist” list. He’s sought by agents in San Diego for conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists, conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization, and providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization.

Omar Alexander Cardenas

Omar Alexander Cardenas — wanted for his alleged involvement in the murder of a man in Los Angeles — was added to the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list. According to the FBI’s Los Angeles office, a reward is being offered of up to $250,000 for information leading to the arrest of Cardenas.

Kim Il

North Korean citizen Kim Il is sought by Los Angeles FBI agents for alleged conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud, and conspiracy to commit computer-related fraud. He is on the agency’s “Cyber’s Most Wanted” list.

Jon Chang Hyok

Jon Chang Hyok is allegedly a state-sponsored North Korean hacker who is part of a criminal conspiracy responsible for some of the costliest computer intrusions in history, according to federal investigators. He is allegedly part of a group of hackers of the North Korean government’s Reconnaissance General Bureau. He is on the Los Angeles FBI office’s list of “Cyber’s Most Wanted.”

Sajid Mir

Sajid Mir is on the FBI’s “Most Wanted Terrorist” list. He is sought by Los Angeles agents in connection with several alleged charges, including providing material support to terrorists, bombings, murder, and aiding and abetting.

Park Jin Hyok

Park Jin Hyok is allegedly a state-sponsored North Korean computer programmer who is part of a criminal conspiracy responsible for some of the costliest computer intrusions in history. He is sought by Los Angeles agents who’ve put him on “Cyber’s Most Wanted” list.

Raddulan Sahiron

Raddulan Sahiron is on the FBI’s “Most Wanted Terrorist” list and a reward of up to $1 million is offered for information leading to his arrest. He is wanted by Los Angeles agents for his alleged involvement in the kidnapping of a U.S. citizen.
