This position is

The position is responsible for supporting our Financial Systems
Chart of Accounts configuration in Oracle EBS and the integrations with our third party and custom solutions. This
includes system setups, troubleshooting, and other production support related items. Also provides tier 2 support for the Financials Help
Desk related to questions about our Financial systems. Additionally, this position will work closely with others in Financial &
Administrative Systems team to support the needs of our functional owners and perform testing related to our system
- System Configuration and Interfaces- will perform systems maintenance in Oracle General
Ledger related to the Chart of Accounts. Also involved in interfaces of information to/from our third party systems (Jaggaer/BobcatBUY and
Concur) and resolution of any integration issues/errors. Will also be the primary support to the operation of the university’s Financials
Interface that is used to interface transactions from third party software systems. Provides Tier 2 support for issues logged through the
Finance Customer Care.
- Participation in Systems Initiatives, such as release upgrades or new system implementations, specifically in
the P2P related modules (Oracle AP and PO, BobcatBUY, and Concur) as well as their interaction with the GL and Grants modules. Assist in the
testing, documentation, and implementation of system changes. Involves testing of catalog enablements, software release testing from third
party vendors, and testing of enhancement changes to the systems.
- Reporting and pulling of information through OBI (reporting tool). Will be involved in testing changes to our reporting subject areas and creation or changes to any
of our reports to ensure appropriate results are obtained. Will be asked to pull information in response to audit and public records
requests. Will also be involved in pulling data for analysis and metrics.
- Other duties as assigned by
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Communications,
or related field
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Experience working with ERP applications and reporting tools is a plus (OHIO currently uses: Oracle EBS, OBI reporting, and third party
applications: Jaggaer, formerly SciQuest; SAP Concur, etc.).
