Forensics Manager

Managers have responsibility for the management of complex client engagements with a command of best practices and performance metrics across our clients.  In this role, you will effectively communicate and build relationships with client management to assess their needs, and design and implement solutions based on Consilio’s methodology that meet or exceed specified engagement results.

Managers on the Digital Evidence and Expert Services Team must demonstrate performance in the following:

Engagement Management

  • Lead engagement planning; organize and schedule resources; and ensure compliance with internal policies and engagement administration
  • Develop work plans and coordinate daily fieldwork and engagement team activities
  • Assist in preparation of client deliverables including data analyses, process flows, and presentations

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and manage successful client relationships generating positive client feedback on quality, value, innovation, delivery, and results

Managing and Leading Teams

  • Create an effective work environment setting a positive tone, establishing performance expectations and driving accountability through motivation
  • Participates in the development and/or facilitation of internal training programs
  • Provide leadership to personnel to identify, quantify, implement and measure specific improvement initiatives
  • Effectively direct, coach, motivate and evaluate analysts and associates including completion of all elements of Consilio’s performance management process


  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills and the ability to manage moving parts
  • Developed a strong depth of knowledge in one or more areas; including system implementations where applicable
  • Lead team efforts in developing solutions to difficult or complex client situations to ensure goals and objectives are met
  • Adapt methodologies to typical and complex situations, circumstances and new requirements

Communication and Executive Disposition

  • Communicate effectively (written and verbal) to a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrate a high degree of self-awareness and ability to accurately gauge others to appropriately guide thinking and behavior, especially in difficult situations
  • Represent Consilio with poise, professionalism and confidence
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of client management, including C-suite client leadership
  • Monitor scope of client expectations surrounding delivery of generated results

Practice Development

  • Participate as a leader in practice management which includes tools and methodologies to deliver work, and talent development including recruiting and forming an external professional network
  • Participate in activities such as solution advancement and methodology, recruiting, and internal training development, authoring white papers, speaking engagements, webinars, etc.


  • Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least 5 years of experience in two or more of the following: conducting computer forensics investigations, subject matter expertise in proper forensic procedures for data collection, evidence handling and reporting on the results of investigations, or performing sophisticated data modeling, data mining, or data analysis
  • Willingness and ability to travel every week
  • Work extended hours as necessary


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, MIS, Mathematics or other related major


  • Recent consulting experience in a team-based professional services environment
  • Experience in the care, handling and protection of data
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages such as C, C#, C++, PERL, SQL, and VB


  • Manage and execute data collections from a wide range of data repositories in a legally defensible manner
  • Manage and examine digital evidence for presentation in court or to client’s management and/or legal team
  • Serve as the day-to-day leader on small to mid-sized engagements with strong project management skills and quality standards
  • Ability and willingness to coach subordinates and effectively delegate
  • Manage data modeling, data mining, or data analysis projects
  • Ability to develop client relationships and manage existing relationships
  • Proven ability to build practice morale
  • Solid written communication skills to create and edit internal and client deliverables that are succinct, articulate and meet Consilio’s standards of quality


  • Able to demonstrate a high degree of self-awareness and ability to accurately gauge others to appropriately guide thinking and behavior, especially in difficult situations
  • Flexible learning mind-set to fully understand and integrate Consilio’s methodology with a high level of critical thinking and ability to navigate ambiguous and dynamic circumstances and environments.
