Cybersecurity executive Roland Cloutier is helping The Cybersecurity Studio bolster its learning and development services.
Cloutier will oversee the Cybersecurity Studio’s curriculum buildout and growth strategy, the company said in a prepared statement. He also will provide mentorship and advisory services to both sitting CISOs and their direct reports.
Who Is Roland Cloutier?
Cloutier has more than two decades of cybersecurity industry experience. He currently serves as principal at the Business Protection Group (BPG), an Australian organization that provides security solutions to customers in healthcare and other sectors.
Prior to joining BPG, Cloutier served as global CSO at TikTok. He stepped down as TikTok’s CSO in July 2022 as the company began to reorganize the way it managed U.S. users’ data, Variety reported.
Along with TikTok, Cloutier has held cybersecurity leadership roles at ADP, EMC and other global organizations. He also has expertise in the management of strategic converged security programs and services and development of global business operations protection programs.
A Closer Look at the Cybersecurity Studio
The Cybersecurity Studio is owned and operated by Chi Studios, which offers executive learning and development, C-suite executive briefings and initiative labs services. It is designed to “facilitate team-to-team collaboration that accelerates solutioning for the cybersecurity challenges of today and tomorrow,” the company stated.
With the Cybersecurity Studio, CISOs and other cybersecurity leaders can access a neutral environment to share their experiences and look for ways to address security challenges, the company noted. The studio also provides cybersecurity playbooks, reports, roundtables and other tools and resources.
The Cybersecurity Studio does not currently offer a partner program for MSSPs and MSPs. However, the studio may look to develop and launch a channel partner program in the future.
