Burleson ~ Frank Russell McKay, 86, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020.
Graveside Service is 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at the Geron Family Cemetery in Decatur.
Rev. Ed Geron will officiate.
Frank was born Sept. 9, 1934, to Alvin C. and Agnes Dorilda (Mailloux) McKay in Lynn, Mass. He graduated North Quincy High School, attended college and retired after many years from TxDOT in Fort Worth as a warehouse manager. Frank was united in marriage Oct. 8, 1965, to Bettye Geron in Fort Worth at the Rolling Hills Baptist Church. He proudly served our country in the Massachusetts National Guard and the United States Air Force. Frank was in the Korean War and received a National Defense Service Medal. He attended Bible Baptist Seminary in Arlington and was a licensed minister.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Agnes McKay; and his wife of 51 years, Bettye Geron.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his god-granddaughter, Ivana Leal; her parents, Johnny and Ana Leal; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.
