Job Description:
OnForce is looking for an energetic and talented front-end focused engineer to help us re-invent the way work gets done. He/she would work closely with our UX designer to implement powerful, usable interfaces that make it easy and enjoyable to get work done. Work will involve participating in user research, creating prototypes, and implementing rich UI on iPhone, Android, and the web.

Responsbilities:
• Work closely with the product and engineering teams to implement mobile and web based front-end interfaces
• Develop clean and modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code
• Convert Photoshop/Illustrator designs into HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Collaborate with our interaction designer to design and apply consistent style and usability specifications and guidelines across web and mobile interfaces
• Organize CSS, image and associated libraries
• Analyze and optimize web and mobile interfaces for minimal load times
• Provide guidance on website user-interface best practices and options
• Manage cross-platform and cross-browser quirks and compatibility issues
Technologies and Frameworks:
The ideal applicant should have 2+ years experience with the following technologies:
• HTML, CSS XHTML and HTML5
• JavaScript
• Javascript Frameworks such as jQuery
• Experience creating rich web 2.0 interfaces
• JavaScript debugging and development environments
• Source control systems such as svn, git, or CVS
• Experience with a web scripting language such as PHP, Ruby, or Python (ideally PHP)
• Experience with mobile or tablet development is helpful
• Knowledge of web services using REST and SOAP is helpful
