LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Six men are facing charges in relation to an online child sex sting by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, including one who changed his name to George Washington.

The sheriff’s office worked with the Northern Virginia-Washington DC Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force on the week-long sting. Through internet chats by undercover detectives during the week of April 8, authorities say six suspects were caught trying to set up indecent relations with minors. The suspects thought they were chatting with children under age 15.

“Stopping child predators is a critical part of law enforcement, and I am proud of the outstanding work of our detectives and partners in making these arrests,” said Sheriff Mike Chapman in a statement. “The actions of these individuals are extremely disturbing and highlight the need for parents and guardians to actively monitor their children’s use of electronic devices and chat applications.”

The suspects arrested were Julio Camajuare Cisneros, 66, of Herndon, Rodney Stevens Martin, 62, of Sterling, Kodee Michael Matz, 23, of Herndon, Miguel Angel Ibarra Parada, 36, of Sterling, Yotin Singtong, 39, of Bethesda, Maryland, and George Washington (formerly Donnie Gray Lee), 36, of Mount Vernon.

The sheriff’s office clarified to Patch that George Washington is the suspect’s legal name and that he uses Mount Vernon as his address.
