GMV Teams with Imperva to Strengthen its Cyber Security Leadership in Southern Europe

GMV today announced it achieved the designation of Imperva Platinum Partner. This designation is the culmination of seven years of collaboration between GMV and Imperva helping customers deploy Cybersecurity solutions that protect their data while also helping to ensure regulatory compliance.

“This recognition as an Imperva Platinum Partner sets our company apart, strengthens our Cybersecurity leadership, and enables us to offer our clients the most innovative application and data protection solutions” says Javier Zubieta, Head of Cybersecurity Business Development at GMV Secure e-Solutions.

To become an Imperva Platinum Partner companies must exhibit proven success in implementing and supporting the Imperva Cybersecurity portfolio, which includes the Imperva Camouflage, CounterBreach, Incapsula and SecureSphere product lines, have deep security expertise and maintain Imperva certified technical resources on staff.

“GMV is a committed partner, and we’re thrilled that they’re being recognized for their Cybersecurity expertise and investment,” said Bertrand de Labrouhe, AVP of Southern EMEA and Mediterranean at Imperva. “GMV and Imperva will work together to help enterprises in Spain protect their business-critical data and applications both on-premises and in the cloud and to prepare for the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which will be enforced after May 2018.”

“Companies with a high-level of Cybersecurity maturity consider information to be the centre of any security initiative and are keen to implement Imperva solutions that protect their data. Taking the next step to prepare our clients for GDPR enforcement, Imperva solutions will allow us to assist our clients in their compliance efforts by providing data discovery and classification tools, user access controls, data masking, data breach detection, data transfer controls and other data compliance solutions,” added Zubieta.
