Hackers attack Donetsk News Agency website during DPR Head’s online conference

Unknown hackers attacked the website of the Donetsk News Agency (DNA) during the text broadcast of the “direct line” of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Alexander Zakharchenko with residents of Zaporozhye, said the statement of the agency.

“The Internet resources of the Donetsk News Agency, which is providing a site today for the online conference of DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko with residents of Ukraine’s Zaporozhye Region have been hit by an intensive DDoS attack,” said the statement.
DNA said that access to the website of the agency and its page for reception of questions can be unavailable or complicated.

The agency specified that the attack began just after the publication of Zakharchenko’s statement about prevention by the DPR authorities of attempt at Nadezhda Savchenko during her recent trip to Donbass.

Hacker attacks of the Internet resources of the DPR took place during the previous online conferences of the head of the republic as well on April 20, May 5 and 25, and the DNA website was hit by DDoS-attacks more than 20 times. In all the cases technical experts managed to quickly neutralize consequences of the hackers’ actions.
