Havasu man charged with ID theft, fraudulent credit card use

A Lake Havasu City resident was arrested for using someone else’s credit card almost two months ago.

Jamie L. Metz, 35, was charged on Dec. 21 with taking the identity of another person, fraudulent use of a credit card and forgery for an incident that occurred on Halloween.

After being contacted by the Lake Havasu City Police Department at her relative’s home in Topock, Metz admitted to using a stolen credit card to purchase a pair of shoes, sunglasses and a brown pair of sandals at Beachcomber’s Ski and Sport.
