FARGO — A man considered to be a high-risk sex offender has registered as homeless in Fargo.

Jerry Verl Holmes Sr. is now homeless, a news release from the

Fargo Police Department

stated Tuesday, Nov. 28.

According to Forum archives, Holmes has previously registered as a resident of Fargo, dating back to at least August 2022.

Holmes was convicted of corruption/solicitation of a minor in 2010 in Williams County District Court. The victim was a 17-year-old girl.

Holmes, 56, is 6 feet tall and weighs 190 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair.

The North Dakota Sex Offender Risk Assessment Committee deems Holmes to be a high-risk offender. He is a lifetime registrant.
