Cornelius, N.C. — Hough High School rising senior defensive back Jaiden Spearman announced his commitment to the University of Louisville on Monday morning. Spearman is considered a 3-star prospect by the three major recruiting services.
He announced his choice in a series of social media posts.
Spearman is listed at 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds.
The class of 2024 defensive back also held offers from Penn State University, the University of Florida, the University of Connecticut, the University of Michigan, the University of Wisconsin, Duke University, Baylor University, the University of Mississippi, Purdue University, the University of Cincinnati, the University of Arizona, Arizona State University, the University of Maryland, Miami University of Ohio, Boston College, Florida Atlantic University, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Western Michigan University, Marshall University, the University of Buffalo, Temple University, and Georgia Southern University.
Spearman started his high school career at Hough but transferred to a boarding school in Connecticut called The Loomis Chaffee School for his sophomore and junior seasons. He transferred back to Hough this spring.
