Unfortunately, these platforms come with their own set of challenges in the dating world. These days it’s easy to be scammed by a con artist pretending to be someone you might fall for–who doesn’t really exist.
Jessie Schmidt is the South Dakota Region Vice President with the Better Business Bureau. She’s seen the number of romance scams skyrocket the past couple of years.
She stopped by with some reminders that if you’re looking for love online be careful not to be blinded by a suitor who seems to be too good to be true.
