Identity of card fraud suspect is sought in Opelika

The Opelika Police Department needs the public’s help in identifying a woman who used a stolen credit card after it was taken from a car on Nov. 19 in downtown.

Moments after the car was entered at 8:30 p.m. and cards stolen, police said the card was used later at the Raceway gas station on Marvyn Parkway.

A second attempt to use the card was at Walmart in Phenix City.

Police have a surveillance camera photo of the suspect. Anyone with information on the woman should call the Opelika Police Department’s Investigative Services Division at 334-705-5220 or the Secret Witness Hotline at 334-745-8665.
