The coursework follows an application-based teaching approach, utilizing case studies and real-world examples to enhance practical understanding.

While the program is primarily delivered online, students can gain an in-campus experience by participating in activities that facilitate interactions with classmates and professors. Explaining the aims of the course, Dr Deepak Kumar Saxena, assistant professor, School of Management & Entrepreneurship, said: “The objectives of this program are two-fold. While the students will be suitable to take jobs in the field of management and fintech in particular, the objective of the program is also to prepare them for managerial and analytics roles in the cybersecurity domain.

“Students who graduate with a degree in fintech and cybersecurity can pursue careers in investment banking systems development, corporate treasury management, corporate financial analytics, or financial consulting for digital transformation, and cybersecurity in corporations,” he added.
