In an effort to enhance water safety for infants and young children, Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) is set to resume its instructive sessions at Minden REC starting January 29, 2024.
The lessons, scheduled Monday through Friday, will take place between 7:00 AM and 9:30 AM, offering 10-minute timeslots for participants.
ISR distinguishes itself from conventional swimming instruction programs by incorporating ISR Self-Rescue™ techniques, specifically designed to empower children with the skills needed to survive potential water-related incidents. Geared towards infants and youngsters aged six months to six years, ISR focuses on providing personalized swimming instruction to instill both competence and confidence in aquatic environments.
For additional details, interested parties can visit www.infantswim.com or reach out to ISR Sr. Master Instructor Lisa King, RN, at [email protected]. King emphasizes, “It’s not just about swimming…it’s about surviving!”
