 U.S. Bank / Elavon is seeking an Information Security Operations Analyst with technical security and vulnerability experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Facilitates the implementation of Information Security policies and procedures. Understands and complies with security policies, practices, and procedures. Notifies IT operations groups of vulnerabilities within their systems and raises awareness of security alerts that could affect systems they manage and provides recommendations on mitigating/removing them. Assists in testing and implementing data security-related infrastructure for team tools, security plans, products, and control techniques. Develops and implements access control lists for specific computer resources and distributes information based on sound security access controls for all platforms. Monitors security logs for violations and unusual events. Monitors threats to the security of the Bank’s network, systems, or information. Alerts other staff to issues or potential areas of concern. Provides support on network security issues and responds in accordance with the Security Incident Management Plan. Receives guidance from senior staff. Executes patching and other remediation of system vulnerabilities. Provides access to systems/users based on approved requests while receiving significant direction and guidance from senior staff.

Basic Qualifications:


-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 2 years experience with processes, tools, techniques and practices for assuring adherence to standards associated with accessing, altering and protecting organizational data.


Preferred Skills/Experience:


Basic understanding in:
-Information security technologies
-Network and internet security
-Information security architecture
-IT standards, procedures, policy


Working experience in:
-Information security audits


Extensive experience in:
-Information security administration
