Ironwood Ridge High School participates in National Teen Driver Safety week | Local | #schoolsaftey

TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) — Ironwood Ridge High School participated in National Teen Driver Safety week all week with various immersive activities to emphasize the importance of teen driver safety.

Oro Valley PD gave students a presentation on the Impact Teen Driver Course, and Moms Against Drunk Driving were also present with a table and information.

A totaled car is also out on display in front of the student parking lot as a reminder to students about what could happen due to distracted driving. 

Staff also showcased drunk googles, which showcase to students how altered their balance, vision and overall body control can be distorted while driving if under the influence.
