IT Director

Preferred Qualifications


The Director of Technical Security Services will manage a global team of technical resources that are responsible for ensuring security is properly designed and implemented in the services provided Global Information Technology (GIT), as well as the broader Customer Services organization.  This position is also responsible for the large portions of the technical security strategy of GIT Risk Management.

This position will be responsible for key technical programs and projects related to the deployment of services, processes and tools used by GIT Risk Management for meeting its charter and objectives, as well as effectively managing security risks in the solutions and services provided by GIT overall.  Additionally, the group managed by this position will be responsible for providing security and risk management consulting to other GIT and Customer Services organizations, as well as support during the service planning, design and operations processes.

Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience successfully managing a group of highly skilled, technical individuals focused on technology in a dynamic environment, as well as 10 years in the information technology.  Experience designing and implementing innovative technical security solutions, processes and services is necessary.  Experience in large organizations interfacing with various governance and customer organizations is a must.

Candidate should be very comfortable developing technical strategies to address the needs of very diverse set of internal and external set of customers.  Candidate should have experience interfacing with executives across a large information technology organization, interfacing with multiple oversight organizations and collaborating across organizations to achieve goals and objectives.


Candidate will be expected to be an active leader and participant in the GIT Risk Management leadership team.


Technical and security certifications preferred.


Direct report the head of the GIT Risk Management organization.


Detailed Description and Job Requirements

 Work with a world class team to develop, implement, and support cutting edge Oracle technology.

Manages teams supporting and/or implementing multi-functional and/or multi-location projects and/or systems. Defines, documents and manages scope, expectations, implementation approach, deliverables and acceptance testing criteria. Develops and manages an effective risk mitigation strategy for the project(s).

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Successful track record as a manager. Detailed knowledge of technical and business concepts of a number of related applications areas. BA/BS degree preferred.
