MacAulay-Brown, Inc., (MacB) is assembling a team to support a critical Defense IT program. The program operates TS/SCI, Secret and unclassified enclaves over a WAN that supports users in and outside of CONUS. MacB has supported this program in the past. The geographically-dispersed, close-knit team will be disciplined, focused and will use imagination and skill to integrate proven technologies to continuously improve support to the program and its customers. The team will strive to exceed standards in technical achievement by integrating staff from multiple IT technical disciplines as well as logisticians and other less technical staff. The team will support hardware and software at program sites as well as customer sites, including performing technical refresh/upgrades as necessary through the customer locations’ lifespan. Finally, because of the combined expertise of the team, the team members will feel challenged to produce their best to match the performance of the rest of the team and will enjoy a high level of job satisfaction in making meaningful contributions to national security priorities.
Develops and implements IT project requirements, definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for multiple small and medium sized projects of low to moderate complexity. Prepares and coordinates scoping documents and overwatches design. Gains concurrence and approval from stakeholders. Manage the IT projects to meet objectives, including cost, schedule and satisfaction of customer requirements, overseeing development of project deliverables. Performs ongoing review of project status; identifies possible project risks. Recommends and implements risk mitigation solutions as approved and as appropriate. Works in conjunction with team members and stakeholders to manage changes to technical requirements, business requirements and schedule of the project. Provides input on possible changes needed based on current project status and input from the customer. Manage development and approval of customer agreements. Communicates requirements and progress with the customer, including insuring that the customer’s requirements and submittals are completed on schedule.Coordinates work assignments and provides direction with regard to timeliness and completion of project objectives. Addresses performance issues within prescribed guidelines. Provides performance input upon completion of project. Answer incoming calls from customers answer inquiries and questions, handle complaints, troubleshoot problems and provide information. Also interact by phone with outside parties to coordinate actions, make appointments, collect information or conduct follow-up. Lead turnover of completed project to customers, including execution of acceptance documents.Duties to include: responding to customer inquiries; researching required information; handling and resolving customer complaints; providing customers with product and service information; obtaining customer information; identifying and escalating priority issues; routing issues to staff; follow up customer calls where necessary; completing call logs; producing call reports.
- Four years of project management experience
- Experience working with project management methodology including budget and schedule development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies, project finance and accounting concepts and practices
- Experience working with client vision, business objectives, and critical success factors
- Must have a TS clearance with either current SCI access or SCI access within the last 18 months. Most recent investigation or reinvestigation must have close no more than 54 months ago. CI Polygraph is desired.
