A Texas superintendent was arrested for planning to engage in sex acts with a person he thought was a 15-year-old girl in Houston, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 1’s Office. Michael Stevens, 47, is the superintendent at Itasca ISD, which is just south of Fort Worth.

Harris County Constable Alan Rosen announced the arrest in a Facebook post on Thursday, June 1. Stevens was among the seven people arrested in an operational sting. Rosen said that Stevens sent photos of his private parts to the investigator and asked for nude images and videos in return.

Rosen said some of the images Stevens sent appeared to have been taken in his office while he was at work. Stevens was planning a trip to Houston to meet the 15-year-old girl for sex, Rosen said.

Stevens, who is a former coach,  principal, and assistant principal in various districts around Texas, was arrested on June 1 at Itasca High School. Stevens is married with no children and had been with the district since March 2022, according to Rosen.
