JNTU introduces cybersecurity program in BTech

A new Cyber Security program in BTech CSE for cyber warriors has been introduced by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad

Cyber frauds are on the rise as the technology has advanced. This has created a great need for trained cybersecurity professionals to deal with them, which in turn has increased the demand of cybersecurity professionals. In this background, a new Cyber Security program in BTech CSE for cyber warriors has been introduced by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad.

From the next academic year, this course will be offered exclusively at varsity Campus College, Hyderabad. The university will get help in creating cyber warriors by cybercrime experts from Telangana Police, who have been successfully solving cybercrime cases.

JNTU, Hyderabad and the State Police have signed an MoU. In the third and fourth years, classes for this course will be taken. With live examples along with tools and software used during criminal investigation, students will be trained on how to detect cyber crimes.
