The Agile Cyber Solutions group is looking for a Junior Security Analyst to support software development efforts within various computer security, computer forensics, and information assurance domains.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the designs, development, coordination, and managerial aspects of specified software projects
  • Establish project priorities and schedules, strategic plans and operating objectives
  • Provide specialized advice, facilitation, and support to development team in respects to operator feedback and current market needs
  • Provide hands-on software testing, analysis, and documentation experience under both Windows and UNIX based operating systems

JOB REQUIREMENTS

BS/BA degree in Cyber Security and Information Assurance, or a related degree field, with one or more years experience in the following:

  • Knowledge of advanced research topics such as Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) techniques
  • Experience with different types of virtualization and introspection technologies
  • Experience as an Operations Specialist / Information Security (IS) officer
  • Commercial penetration testing experience, including vulnerability assessment, remediation and mitigation, server maintenance, and systems maintenance
  • Hands-on experience with a scripting language such as Python, Perl, or Ruby
  • Hands-on experience using collaboration systems such as SharePoint, Wiki, Git or Subversion

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • High level of motivation; self-starter; results driven
  • Ability to work as part of a team designing and building novel software capabilities
  • Working on multiple projects and interfacing with management
  • Perform market research and analysis between products
  • Work independently on research related tasks
  • Ability to identify architectural of software systems
  • Must be well grounded in the foundational elements of computer security and/or system vulnerability analysis
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals. Comfortable using ping, nmap, tcpdump, and netcat. Fundamental understanding of network models such as TCP/IP and the OSI
  • Experience hands-on software testing, analysis, and documentation experience under both Windows and UNIX based operating systems
  • Strong documentation and presentation abilities. Documentation is clear, concise and coherent with logical organization and flow.  Attention to detail and aesthetics in documentation is mandatory
  • Experience working on and assisting management with multi-year multi-million dollar contracts
  • Experience supporting Lead Technology Engineers and Program Managers
