|Harris is currently seeking to hire a Junior Systems Administrator. The Systems Administrator (SA) is responsible for answering calls from users, documenting identified issues in the approved ticketing system (Remedy), and working to resolve the issue. If noted incident can’t be resolved, SA will document actions taken and escalate the ticket to the next support level. SA will work as a team member to perform Windows Active Directory account management, RSA remote access administration, iPhone support and management, deskside support involving PC, thin-client, KVM, and monitor lifecycle support. SA will build, configure, validate, deploy, and manage end-user equipment and devices.
Candidate will train end-users on system and application usage as new projects and applications are deployed. SA will support basic troubleshooting and support of audio/visual equipment and educate users on proper usage, as needed. SA will track, manage, and report inventory and software licensing.
Candidate will also research technical products and obtain vendor quotes to facilitate procurement activities, including submission, processing, tracking, and reporting of all procurement activities. Member will work as part of a team to ensure customer support is available from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
