Two people believe to be Just Stop Oil protestors have stormed The Last Leg live show on Channel 4 tonight (Friday). The incident occurred just minutes into the programme, and saw one protestor hug presenter Adam Hills.
When Hills saw them approach, he cheered with his arms aloft. He was then handed an orange Hi-Vis jacket.
“This is not part of the show,” Adam remarked as the protestors handed out jackets to fellow stars Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker. One of the protestors ran over to Adam and gave him a hug.
The incident came not long after a pair of protestors attempted to halt the BBC Prom’s on its first night in the Royal Albert Hall. The protest followers similar disruptions at Wimbledon and the Ashes this summer.
Just Stop Oil says it is demanding the government stops licensing all new oil, gas and coal projects.
