Hello: I read the Radio World article “Are You Using an Unsupported OS?” and was flabbergasted anyone is doing this. Who on God’s green earth is doing this??!! It should be plain knowledge that old, unsupported operating systems are no longer getting up-to-date security. That goes for any version of Microsoft Windows, Linux and macOS.

Any outdated OS running on a machine should not be on the internet. If the files on the machine are clean, there are no corrupted programs and you have some older software you want to run, the machine will work just fine by itself. Just make sure the machine is not connected to the internet.

Hackers will have a field day if they find your machine. I loved Windows XP when it was current, but its day has passed and it is time to use an up-to-date OS.
