LivaNova disclosed that portions of its information technology systems were disrupted following a cybersecurity incident.
The medical technology company said the incident has caused and is expected to continue to cause disruption to parts of its business operations, according to a regulatory filing. It said it can’t determine the extent of the impact on its business, results of operations, cash flows or financial condition.
LivaNova began an investigation and is coordinating with law enforcement. It continues to assess what information and systems were impacted. The company added it has and will continue to take actions to remediate the issue such as taking certain systems offline.
