RAVENSWOOD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Jackson County authorities have intercepted yet another child predator traveling from out-of-state to engage in illicit activity with a juvenile minor.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, an individual identified as Colton Wilson of Nelsonville, OH has been detained after soliciting a young girl over the internet and traveling to the Ravenswood area to meet with the juvenile.
Upon his arrival into Ravenswood, Wilson was met by Deputies with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department as well as officers with the Ravenswood Police Department. Wilson is reported to have brought along condoms in anticipation of the arranged meeting.
Following his arrest, Wilson was arraigned in Jackson County Magistrate Court and transferred to the custody of South Central Regional Jail. The arrest is one of the most recent to be initiated as part of Operation Juicebox, an initiative through which authorities hope to clear the streets of child predators.
