HUNTINGTON, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — A Huntington man who plead guilty to child sex trafficking has been sentenced.
A judge sentenced Charles Daub, 47, to 30 years behind bars and 5 years on probation after he pleaded guilty to child molesting and promotion of sexual trafficking of a younger child.
Court documents say Daub groomed the teen victim for sex trafficking starting in July 2018 through October 2020.
The victim told police she was 13 years old when Daub first picked her up in Huntington County before sexually abusing her.
Daub told police that other men reached out to him asking if he knew any girls for trafficking and that he offered to connect them with the victim.
