Manages Information Technology Infrastructure department to deliver on schedule and budget for employees performing Systems Administration. Develops project or operational plans aligned to department’s objectives. Implements plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved. Assigns authority and responsibilities to employees to execute the plan. Reviews plans’ execution, makes appropriate adjustments, resolves issues and monitors metrics. Forecasts resource needs and obtains and manages personnel, facilities, services, equipment and tools. Acquires, deploys and schedules personnel. Reviews, approves and implements facility, equipment and service. Develops workgroup, project or operational goals, objectives and related metrics. Holds direct reports accountable for achieving goals. Provides technical direction and guidance to others regarding approved processes, tools, technology and skills for own projects or processes. Provides approval of workgroup technical approaches, products and processes. Qualifications
General Knowledge and Abilities:
Manage budget and oversee all Technology Infrastructure.
Technical manager with ability to work closely with team to design, build, implement, run, and troubleshoot technology infrastructure.
Ability to effectively coach and manage technology professionals, including Network/Voice
Engineers, Systems Administrators and project management professionals.
Leverage hands-on skills and experience to support team and perform technical functions.
Manages and partner with Network Engineers to deliver global information and communication services using technologies such as Palo Alto, Cisco and associated infrastructure tools.
Manages core information technology infrastructure services including DNS, DHCP, Federated Active Directory, and all related systems.
Manages telecom team to deliver high-quality global voice, video, and VoIP services including conference rooms.
Manages Virtualization team and server patching in a virtualized VMware environment.
Manages Cloud infrastructure resources and partner relationships for Azure and other Cloud and GovCloud resources.
Manages Windows and Linux server patching team using SCCM and related technologies.
Manages global compute and storage infrastructure, along with infrastructure security
Partners with Information Security team to ensure systems and services comply with enterprise security requirements.
Manages global Exchange and Exchange Online email and messaging systems.
Manage and lead Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and operations functions to ensure reliable global operations.
Ability to analyze business domain knowledge, perform requirements analysis, and develop business domain process models. Analyzes for improvements, develops investment decisions, designs and performs product verification & validation.
Develops and uses collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.
