On August 15th, 2023, it was discovered that Miller’s registered phone number was no longer in service and Miller obtained a new phone without registering the number. Upon further investigation, a social media account through Facebook was located which showed Albert Miller as the owner of the account, which again was not registered. 

On August 23rd, 2023, Albert Miller was located at his residence and questioned regarding the discrepancies. He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail for Failure to Register as a Sex offender with a prior conviction. he is being held on a $1500 cash bond. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
