A Milwaukee school youth advisor accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old student will spend more than two years in jail. In court Monday, 24-year-old Daniel Ellis Junior pleaded guilty to having sex with a student who is now pregnant. According to the prosecutors, the two met while Ellis worked at Bay View High School, where the girl attended school. Ellis was a youth advisor, and the two bonded over their “respective traumas.”Prosecutors detailed how Ellis started texting, calling and meeting with a 16-year-old student earlier this year. According to the criminal complaint Ellis had sex with the girl up to six times.The mother of the Ellis’ victim speaking out in court today before his sentencing. 12 News blurring the woman’s face out of privacy for the victim and her family.”My daughter is only 16. I sent her to school to learn. I didn’t send her to school to be preyed upon and abused. This predator worked at my daughter’s school. All I’m asking is that he be held accountable for his actions,” said the woman. Ellis will spend two and a half years behind bars and three years probation.
