Brent Police have arrested a man accused of multiple crimes related to assaulting children.
Kenneth Duncan was initially arrested on charges of assaulting a child younger than 12 while the child’s mother was inside a store owned by Duncan’s parents.
After that incident was reported, police launched an investigation in the hopes of identifying other possible victims. That investigation resulted in Duncan being charged with multiple rape, sexual abuse, human trafficking and sodomy charges across Hale, Tuscaloosa and Jefferson counties.
According to a post on the Brent Police Department Facebook page, Duncan’s crimes may total more than 100 counts before their investigation concludes. He’s being held in the Bibb County Jail on no bond.
Two of Duncan’s family members, Jeremy and Jerry Duncan, were also charged with child abuse and child endangerment.
