Mr Le Vell, who is famous for playing Kevin Webster in Coronation Street, was successful in his claim and was awarded £31,650 in damages, while the claims of Ms Sanderson and Ms Wightman were both dismissed as being brought out of time.
Mr Mallalieu said MGN is seeking interim payments from Turner, Sanderson and Wightman of around £100,000 each to cover legal costs, and told the court they are all financially protected by insurance.
