Tuesday, PA State Police Troop P Wilkes Barre, PA State Police Major Mike Carroll joined with others involved in an extensive operation, to announce the results of “Operation Safe Screen”. From April through June of this year, multiple law enforcement agencies concentrated their efforts in locating child predators on the internet. The investigation included those who did not follow Megan’s Law registeration requirements, on line and in person meetins with child sexual predators and locating those who posess child sexual abuse materials. Over two dozen arrests in a dozen counties were made, including four juveniles.
