
A TIKTOKER has revealed how she stops her eyes from burning while breaking a sweat.
The fitness fan said her life hack will help runners out in the summer heat.
Angela Xu (@mileswithangela) showed herself preparing for a run in a video posted to TikTok.
“You’re a runner? I have the best summer hack for you,” she said.
She specified that she had been feeling discomfort from sweat getting in her eyes.
“I was complaining about how the sweat always gets into my eyes and it irritates it,” she said.
She revealed the drugstore product she uses to mediate the issue.
“It is to use Chapstick on your eyelids,” she said.
Angela shared her step-by-step process to ensure a comfortable run.
“So you’ll just put Chapstick on your eyelids before your run so that when you sweat, it’ll just fall to the sides of your eyes versus directly inside your eye.
“Because the Chapstick acts like a skin barrier for any liquid. It’s genius.
“Especially as someone who sweats quite profusely on hot summer runs, this is truly the smartest thing I have heard in a long time,” she said.
She also added that it doesn’t matter when it comes to the type of Chapstick.
“Any Chapstick will do,” she said.
The video drew in many viewers who shared their thoughts in the comment section.
“I’m going to try this tomorrow morning on my 10 mile training run,” one wrote.
“Do it,” Angela replied. “Did it today on my 11 miler and it worked like a miracle.”
