A man has been charged with a number of offences after police found credit cards, stolen IDs , drugs and drug utensils in a car at Gleneagle on Tuesday, December 27.
The 21-year-old was asleep in a car on the Mount Lindsey Highway when police stopped to check on him only to find the several items.
Police said they were able to uncover the identity of the dozing offender despite the man initially providing false information.
He was charged with possessing a dangerous drug, possessing a utensil for the use of a dangerous drug, failing to dispose of needle and being in charge of motor vehicle while under the influence of a drug.
He was also charged with contravening a requirement, receiving tainted property, fraud and for outstanding warrants.
The man is in custody and will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on January 18.
