PayPal revealed a New Cyber Crime Scam: A criminal will use their PayPal account to request payment from your PayPal account. PayPal consumers are not expecting a payment request from an unknown party, so, they might succumb.
PayPal says you should immediately report.
The “GOOD NEWS” is that PayPal can stop the transaction, and, hopefully, close the miscreant’s account before any more mischief.
To report an unauthorized transaction, contact PayPal.
