NxtWave, an upskilling platform dedicated to enhancing software careers, has unveiled an upcoming workshop focused on Cyber Security. Set for September 30th and titled ‘Ethical Hacking – Empowering India’s Cyber Defenders,’ this workshop aims to equip students with essential ethical hacking skills. The central theme for this session is ‘Empowering India’s Cyber Defenders,’ with an emphasis on crafting personalised Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) toolkits. This workshop serves as an initial foray into the world of ethical hacking, nurturing an understanding of diverse hacking techniques, according to an official release.

The workshop aims to feature several components, including live hacking demonstrations, hands-on learning experiences, comprehensive case studies illustrating real-world applications and more. Participants will actively participate in constructing their own customised toolkit from the ground up. Industry experts will grace the workshop, sharing their insights with the participants. Moreover, it is anticipated that students from over 1,000 colleges across India will join this event, the release mentioned.

“Through this workshop, we aim to spark an interest among students towards cyber security and equip them with the essential ethical hacking skills. It is an opportunity for them to dive into the world of ethical hacking, acquire hands-on skills, and play a crucial role in safeguarding India’s digital landscape,” Rahul Attuluri, CEO, NxtWave, said.

Furthermore, participants will receive a certificate of completion and gain the knowledge to create their own customised toolkit. Real-world applications of ethical hacking will be explored and valuable insights into the ethical hacking career landscape will be provided by industry experts, the release added.
