October 16-20 Bus Route Cancellations – Bellevue School District | #schoolsaftey

Monday, October 16 through Friday, October 20, the following bus routes are canceled due to driver availability:

  • 10 – Serving Tillicum and Tyee middle schools
  • 22 – Serving Highland and Tyee middle schools
  • 27 – Serving Chinook Middle School and Jing Mei Elementary School
  • 28 – Serving Medina and Puesta del Sol elementaries
  • 49 – Serving Chinook and Odle middle schools

No student pick-ups will be available in both the A.M. and P.M. timeframes. Families impacted should plan alternate transportation for their students. All other bus routes servicing these schools will run normally as scheduled.

At this time, there are no other changes to the school day, and all other scheduled activities are occurring as previously planned. Please check with your student’s school and teacher for information or questions about all school-related activities.

As a reminder, as COVID and various seasonal illnesses move through the area, the number of bus drivers available to transport students on any given day is fluctuating. As standard and daily practice, we are assessing what routes can be covered based on driver availability. If your student’s route has been canceled on any given day, you will be notified via the parent portal through Edulog, by 5:30 a.m. that morning. Sign up for Edulog here.

We understand the inconvenience this causes families and are committed to running as many routes as possible, while keeping student health and safety as the first priority. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.
