The success of ‘Net Nanny’ lies in its ability to infiltrate online communities where child exploitation activities often take place.

In a significant victory against child exploitation, a multi-agency sting operation named ‘Net Nanny’ has resulted in the arrest of 15 individuals in Southwest Washington. Law enforcement agencies worked together to combat the heinous crime of child exploitation. Washington State Patrol’s WSP said the task force has made 332 arrests and been involved in more than 30 operations since August of 2015.

The ‘Net Nanny’ operation was a collaborative effort between local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, including the Southwest Washington Crimes Against Children Task Force. According to Washington State Patrol, the names of the individuals taken into custody during the October operation in Longview include:

  • Theodore Dodge, 53, Brewster
  • Brandon Head, 26, JBLM
  • Aaron Henderson, 31, Olympia
  • Braxton Hood, 23, Longview
  • Justin Gardner, 38, Olympia

Through careful investigation and monitoring, law enforcement agencies were able to gather evidence and identify perpetrators.
