Lockheed Martin Space Systems is seeking experienced professionals to be part of our team on the new Sage Program, a multi-contractor, geographically diverse team supporting the Government, and its customers, to solve their toughest challenges and accomplish their missions.
The Sage program delivers support to the Government through the monitoring and operating of production systems; building, delivering, and optimizing custom products; and community collaboration to share knowledge and advise on how our products can aid the customer with their missions.
Lockheed Martin is seeking an Entry Level operator for the Processing Operations group located in Northern Virginia. This position supports the Government and its customers by monitoring production systems and ensuring customers are receiving the most accurate, relevant products they need to accomplish their missions in a timely manner. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:
Capable of working rotational shifts as part of a 24×7 operational team
Achieve and maintain certifications in accordance with the contractor’s and customer’s formal training programs
Provide on-shift subject matter expertise production systems and their associated products for multiple Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures
Monitor multiple chat rooms; providing users with production knowledge and expertise and assisting in translating their needs into available products
Execute test methodologies for production systems and their associated products
Coordinate with analysts from other disciplines
Make recommendations for innovative methods to accomplish the Processing of customer data and the optimization of the greater Government missions
Develop procedures for operational execution
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Experience or training in Intelligence, related sensors, systems, or related operations, Active Security Clearance, Willing to work Rotating Shift
Understanding of collections platforms, sensors, communication methods and TCPED
Familiar with intelligence production research methods and tasks
Familiar w/social media
Comfortable w/ systems other than windows
Demonstrated success in a team environment
High EQ-Excellent communication skills
Formal training/previous work experiences in product quality techniques and assessment in relation to Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
Familiar with scripting languages and modeling tools used in data analysis and simulation
