Oxford student advocacy group marches to curb gun violence, demanding gun safety | #schoolsaftey

Oxford — Hundreds of students, advocates, parents and supporters rallied, chanted and marched to Oxford High School Saturday afternoon to protest gun violence in the wake of the November 2021 attack at the Oakland County school.

The second annual event was hosted by No Future Without Today, a nonprofit social welfare initiative led by survivors of the Oxford High School shooting, that aims to curb gun violence by enacting common sense gun laws and expanding quality mental health care access.

The group first marched on June 11, 2022, six-months after the tragedy that killed Hana St. Juliana, 14; Madisyn Baldwin, 17; Tate Myre, 16; and Justin Shilling, 17, and wounded seven others.
