JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION
REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Law in University Park is seeking part-time employees for various positions for the Summer
of 2020 as well as the 2020-2021 Academic Year.
Positions include research assistants, research support, grading assistants, law
clinic support, law library support, student tutors, teaching assistants, and IT support.
Responsibilities may
include:
- Assisting with research projects to include collecting, compiling, reviewing data
- Conducting
research on various legal practice areas - Writing and editing legal and educational documents
- Providing support for
instructional planning
Other positions may include duties such as providing IT support, and general office work including
filing, mailing and photocopying.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
