|TRAX International located at the Yuma Proving Ground, Yuma, AZ is currently hiring a Service Desk Technician. The Service Desk is responsible for tier 1 & 2 user support for the installation. There are 2,500+ users, 3, 000 client workstations and notebooks, and approximately 50 standalone systems that support DoD tests. The Service Desk Tech is responsible for resolving client incidents/failures including evaluating possible causes of problem using remote troubleshooting tools when needed, developing a timely and cost-effective solution, servicing requests, customer service, maintaining an incident knowledge base, and continuous process improvement. Other responsibilities include answering incoming user calls, routing requests for approval, and providing technical assistance. Common problems include login problems, operation of Microsoft Office Suite applications, email, network connectivity, printers, remote VPN access, deploying Windows OS in an enterprise environment, applying security settings, scanner operation and Blackberry operations. Other duties as assigned.|
