Children go through a variety of different seats in their childhood, whether they’re in an infant seat or they’re a little bit older and in a booster. We also help provide education so the parents know what seat is safest for their child,” program manager Jen Lau said.The program also covers pedestrian safety and helping children learn when it’s safe to cross the street. Water safety is another topic that’s covered. The program does a lot of education and outreach about staying safe in the pool or open water.The program provides bicycle helmets, as well.
