Police search for man who robbed Papa Murphy’s in south Wichita

Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a Papa Murphy’s in south Wichita Sunday evening.

The robbery happened just after 8 p.m. at the Papa Murphy’s at 2712 South Seneca. Sgt. Nikki Woodrow said the suspect had a handgun and demanded money from two employees.

The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and left the store. No one was hurt.

Sgt. Woodrow described the suspect as a black man in his 20s or 30s. He stands about 5-foot-10 and has a medium build. The suspect was last see wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, gray sweat pants and a ski mask.
